What is San Juan Power Squadron
San Juan Power Squadron, a unit of the United States Power Squadrons, was founded in 1962 as a non- profit educational organization dedicated to making boating safer and more enjoyable, by teaching classes in seamanship, navigation and related subjects. Our members are boating families who contribute to their communities by promoting safe boating through education.

San Juan Power Squadron offers 4 boating safety courses a year to boaters and the public and has educated over 25,000 persons in 4 decades of service to the boating community. We are located in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Successful completion of the USPS boating course meets the educational and boating operation requirements for Puerto Rico as required by law 430, (formerly Law 48) of the Puerto Rico Department of Natural Resources.

What are the activities of San Juan Power Squadron
The San Juan Power Squadron's activities involve the three primary objectives of USPS: community service, continuing education, and enjoying the friendship and camaraderie of our fellow members
